We are incredibly excited to announce that our newest product is now available to buy: local heather honey!

Heather moorland is rarer than rainforest, and it’s a vital part of JAHAMA Highland Estates. We look after this inspirational landscape for the good of the environment, communities and the economy. We are constantly seeking ways to reconnect people and place, and local food products are a great way to achieve this.

Harvested from hives placed out on JAHAMA Highland Estates last year during the heather flowering season, the honey has now been extracted, coarse filtered and placed into 227g jars. It has a gentle floral taste, unique to our Estate as each area of heather in Scotland produces a different flavour of honey. This is very much a seasonal food product, and once sold out, will be unavailable again until next year.

Priced at £7 per jar, you can buy our wonderful heather honey from our venison shop on Ben Nevis Way, opposite the council recycling centre in Fort William.
