COP26 Natural Capital Update

JAHAMA Highland Estates’ parent company, the GFG Alliance, sponsored the World Climate Summit in Glasgow on the 7th and 8th November. The World Climate Summit is essentially the investment COP, linked to the priority action areas and ambition of the COP26 Presidency and building on net-zero climate commitments to strengthen networks which connect the global low carbon economy. 

As part of GFG’s sponsorship, JHE’s Julia Stoddart was asked to write a thought leadership piece about natural capital and the work that JAHAMA has done on developing many of the ideas around valuing natural resources. With well-known natural capital expert Charles Cowap sharing authorship, an article was produced and circulated to delegates of the Summit as well asstakeholders and interested individuals around the world.
